Note on the first two days (May 1-2) we will be processing registrations for 2016-17 members returning for the 2017-18 school year. 
On May 3 and thereafter we will process 2017-18 registrations on a first come first served basis from everyone.

May 8 to June 23, 2017 - Registrations will be accepted during the following

Mondays & Wednesdays - 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
Tuesdays - 11:30 am to 5:30 pm
The Admin Office is closed on Fridays, weekends and stat holidays.

General Membership Information
Annual (June 1 - May 31) Membership Fee is $225.00/child/membership year.  
Fees are not pro-rated - this fee entitles your child to attend the After School Program for the 2017-18 school year.


Children must be 6 years of age to register for and attend programs at the Boys nd Girls Club of Leduc.  The annual membership fee of $225.00 per child entitles your child to attend the BGC Leduc After School program operated from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on each regular school day as per the Black Gold School Division Calendar.  Please go to the Calendar Page on the school division's web site (http://www.blackgold.ca/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/School-Year-2017-18-APPROVED-1.pdf) to access a current version of the Black Gold School Division's School Calendar.  The following exceptions to the aforementioned calendar apply for the club.

After School programming commences on the first day of school - this year that is September 5, 2017.  After School Programming ends approximately one week prior to the end of the school year in June.  The After school program for 2017-18 will end on June 22, 2018.  Occasionally the club may be closed due to a special activity, eg, a Retreat.  You will be given notice via e-mail of any club closures related to special activities at least two weeks in advance of the closure.

Additionally, the membership entitles you to a discount for Summer Programming Fees.  Please note all fees are not refundable regardless of your child's attendance or any circumstances that prompt your child to be dismissed from our programming due to their actions or behaviour.  Please note our Boys and Girls Club of Leduc Child Guidance Policy is available in a separate document on the club's web site registration page for your ready access and review.

Parent's Registration Commitment

I, the parent/legal guardian of the child/children registered via this on-line registration agree to the following:

I agree that my child will enjoy the rights and privileges that a member of the Boys and Girls Club has.  I understand that the Boys and Girls Club is a safe place for everyone and my child is to respect the Boys and Girls Club staff, volunteers and the rights of the other members.  I have read (an will discuss with my child) and agree to abide by the conditions and consequences set out in the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc Child Guidance Policy.  This policy applies to ALL BGC Leduc Programs, including Summer Programming.

I understand that the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc staff and volunteers will be supervising club activities and programs during hours of operation, and that it is my responsibility as parent/guardian to ensure my child's safety before and after hours of operation.

I will ensure my child is aware of all drop off/pick up arrangements.  I understand that my child may leave the premises of the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc at his/her will only if he/she has written permission from the Primary or Seconcdary parent/guardian that has been signed by either parent/guardian and has been delivered to the Club office prior to the date/time he/she is supposed to leave the facility.  I will make every effort to communicate with my child when he/she is expected to leave the club.

I agree that the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc has the right to use any artwork, photographs, video and/or audio of my child while participating in Club activities for the purpose of advertisement and promotional campaigns in the future, without attaching any personal information.

I understand that my child has my permission to take part in scheduled activities such as but not limited to field trips, swimming, etc., offered through the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc After School and Summer Programs.  With full knowledge of the existence and nature of my legal right and in consideration for the opportunities provided to my child by the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc, I waive my legal right against the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc, its staff or volunteers, or Board of Directors for any loss, injury or damage suffered during or by reason of participating in a Club program.

I authorize the application of emergency medical attention and undertake to be responsible for any hospitalization, medical and ambulance or other expenses.

I acknowledge that myself and/or my child may be subject to video surveillance while within the club premises.  This video surveillance is strictly for safety and security purposes and will not be publically viewed or displayed. 

I agree that my late fee deposit of $30.00 will be cashed if my child is picked up late (BGC Leduc closes at 6:00 pm during AFTER SCHOOL DROP IN and 5:00 pm during SUMMER DAY CAMPS.  For special club activities, designated pick up times will be specified.)

If my $30 late fee deposit is cashed for reasons noted above a second Late Pickup deposit will be required in the amount of $60 thereafter.
Parent's Volunteer Commitment - Note if you plan to purchase the one book of WestJet Raffle Tickets as part of your volunteer commitment for Semester 1 you may register using this site.  Otherwise you must use the paper/pdf format documents available on the club registration web page accessible via the following link.

MEMBERS' PARENTS ONLY:  I agree to complete the required volunteer commitment and have supplied deposits in the form of two undated cheques or 2 undated one-time only PAD agreements for $250.00 each.  I understand that the volunteer requirements are as follows:

Semester 1 Volunteer Commitment - June to December of the Membership Year (membership year runs from June 1 to May 31)
Members’ parents must complete one of the following commitments – please select one of the following by circling its number and initialling in the space provided at the end of the selected option.
  1. I agree to complete 10 hours of volunteer time per family by December 31 of the membership year where at least one shift equal to approximately 5 hours will be completed for either the Festival of Trees or the Haunted House (opportunities offered on a first come first serve basis) and the remaining 5 hours of my volunteer time will be devoted to other club volunteer opportunities of my choice provided they have been completed on or before December 31 of the membership year
    AND I agree to purchase 1 book of WestJet Raffle tickets ($100.00 value) to resell or keep for myself, with the understanding that tickets will be ready for pick-up from the administrative office on the day the raffle tickets sales commence (approximately mid-September - date will be announced via e-mail, on the club’s Facebook page and its web site).All ticket stubs will be returned to the club’s administrative office by the due date noted on the front cover of the ticket book.By selecting this option, I agree to pay a $100 deposit for the WestJet Raffle tickets when I register my children for membership and after school programming.
    OR
  2. I agree to complete 25 hours of volunteer time per family by December 31 of the membership year where at least two (2) shifts equal to approximately 5 hours each (total 10 hours) will be completed for either the Festival of Trees and/or Haunted House (opportunities on a first come basis) and the remaining 15 hours of my volunteer time will be devoted to other club volunteer opportunities of my choice provided they have been completed on or before December 31 of the membership year.
If I am unable to complete one of the two volunteer commitment options noted above, I understand that one of my two undated cheques/PAD agreements for $250.00 will be cashed on the 1st banking day of February of the membership year and will be considered a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Leduc. 
 
Semester 2 Volunteer Commitment – January to May of the Membership Year (membership year runs from Jun 1 to May 31)
Members’ parents must complete one of the following commitments – please select one of the following by circling its number and initialling in the space provided at the end of the selected option.
  1. I agree to complete 10 hours of volunteer time per family at events of my choice by May 31 of the membership year
    AND I agree to making a contribution to one of the club’s spring fund-raisers by donating an auction/prize item valued between $60 and $100 OR purchasing a ticket ($60 value) to attend one of the spring fund-raisers (ie Karma Concert or BGC Leduc Poker Night).  Note this is the only volunteer option available for Semester if you are planning to register your child via this online registration web site.  You must register using the paper/pdf format package if you plan to select Option 2 below as your choice for the Semester 1 volunteer commitment.
    OR
  2. I agree to complete 10 hours of volunteer time per family at events of my choice by May 31 of the membership year
    AND I agree to completing an additional shift of approximately 5 hours at the Black Gold Rodeo or another designated fund-raiser determined by the club.
If I am unable to complete one of the two volunteer commitment options noted above, I understand that one of my two undated cheques/PAD agreements for $250.00 will be cashed on the 1st banking day of August of the following membership year and will be considered a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc.
After School Transportation Agreement - Release of Liability

The children noted on the Bussing registration ticket have my permission to be picked up by the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc to be transported to participate in the After School Drop-in Program at the Boyus and Girls Club in the Leduc Recreation Facility.  I will pick up my child by 6 pm or the stated closure time or I will have alternate pick up arrangements made that the staff of the Boys and Girls Club is informed of.  I acknowledge that the Black Gold School District or the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Separate School District have no responsibility for my children once they have boarded the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc bus.

I, the parent/legal guardian of the children listed on the bussing registration understand that if my child behaves in a certain way that makes the driver or other members feel unsafe, a loss of privileges may occur and a refund for transportation fees paid will not be available.

Please communicate clearly with yoru child as to whether or not they need to use the BGC bus.  If your child misses the bus at his/her school, it is your responsibility to provide alternate transportation from teh school to the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc.

The BGC Bus operates as per the Black Gold Regional School Busses.  If the Black Gold Regional School Busses operating within the Leduc City limits are not operating, the Boys and Girls Club fo leduc Bus will not operate.  If for some unforeseen reason the BGC Leduc Bus is not operating when the Black Gold School city busses are running, the schools will be contacted so announcements may be made and a mass e-mail will be sent to the priamry parent's e-mail account.  Additionally, notices willb e placed onthe BGC Leduc Website and on the club's Facebook page so parents/legal guardians can make alternate arrangements for their children's pick-up from school.  Please note due to limited staff numbers, the club will NOT contact parents by phone when bus cancellations occur.

I understand that registrations and payments for After School Drop-in Memberships, Bussing and/or Summer programs are accepted on a first come, first served basis and will not be considered complete until the following has been received and processed by the club's administrative office.
  1. Membership Registration documents and associated payments that includes:
    1. Membership Registration and Fees of $225/child plus $100 for the pre-purchase of the WestJet Raffle book of tickets that will be distributed for resale in the Fall (late September/early October).
    2. Bussing Registration and Fees of $30/child/month - Bussing fees must be paid via one of the following options.
      • Lump Sum payment by the 5th banking day of the month for which the bussing is to commence OR
      • PAD agreement (for monthly automatic withdrawal payments from your bank account) which must be submitted to the admin office 10 business days prior to the month for which the bussing is to commence.  Be sure to attached a voided cheque or equivalent document from your bank that identified the account information the funds are to be withdrawn from.
  2. Summer Program Registration dopcuments and associated payments at  a membership rate of $120/child/week if applicable.
  3. Deposit cheques and/or PAD agreements as follows:
    1. Two (2) undated cheques and/or PAD agreements in the amount of $250 each to be held in trust and only cashed if volunteer commitments have not been completed.  See Volunteer Commitment details above.
    2. One (1) undated cheque and/or PAD agreement in the amount of $30 to be held in trust and only cashed if your child not picked up before the clob closes on any day your child attends the club.
Please ensure all of the items noted above have been submitted to the admin office at the Club so your children's registrations may be finalized.

2017 Summer Program Schedule

All programs are designed to be purchased by the week only.  Member rates are $120/child/week.  The schedule is as follows:
  • Week 1 - July 4 to 7, 2017 - Farm Week - Trip to Prairie Gardens
  • Week 2 - July 10 to 14, 2017 - Music Week - Trip to Street Performers Festival at Churchill Square
  • Week 3 - July 17 to 21, 2017 - Sports Week - Trip to RJC Rock Climbing
  • Week 4 - July 24 to 28, 2017 - Water Week - Trip to West Edmonton Mall Water Park
  • Week 5 - July 31 to Aug 4, 2017 - Photography & Film Week - Trip to Leduc Cinemas
  • Week 6 - Aug 8 to 11, 2017 - Heritage Week - Trip to Fort Edmonton - note August 7 is a stat holiday and the club will be closed.
  • Week 7 - Aug 14 to 18, 2017 - Animal Week - Trip to Edmonton Valley Zoo
  • Week 8 - Aug 21 to 25, 2017 - Science Week- Trip to Space Science Centre

2017-18 Bussing Lump Sum Payment for Full Year - Sep to Jun - $300/child/year$ 300.00
To pay for your child/children's bussing fees in a lump sum payment. Each ticket covers fees for one child's bussing from Sep to Jun of the membership year. If you want to pay for your child's bussing fees via automatic withdrawal from your bank account on the first banking day of each month for which bussing is required you must complete and PAD agreement and submit it and a voided cheque or equivalent bank account document to the Admin Office at least 10 business days before the first month that bussing is required.
